August 17 is National Nonprofit Day which is designed to "recognize the immense effort nonprofits and charities put into making an impact in their communities and across the globe.”
            I invite you to celebrate the organizations I support that are working to end the awful disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (also known as ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease) that does not get enough awareness. I support both the Canadian and U.S. organizations, as follows:
