Kinda becomes predictive, doesn't it.
One of my enjoyments in life is listening to CBC radio. Great shows, unique personalities and interesting interviews and stories. But our national broadcaster has decided we need to know everything about COVID-19 on what seems like a 24/7 schedule. That does not align with one of my containment strategies: namely, to avoid listening/watching/hearing news all the time. It can just be too depressing these days. So now, I find I have to give up one of the things that kept me joyful: the CBC. Not that I'm abandoning it forever, you understand, just can’t listen all the time.
Meanwhile, various folks have been sharing that, at times like this, you sure sense the lack of leadership we have with too any of our politicians. I get little satisfaction from Trudeau, Ford or Trump telling me what to do about COVID-19. Where are the real men and women of politics we need, not just at times like this, but all the time? You know, the ones we can respect?
