Thank you Harry and Meghan!
Can it really be that in my lifetime we’re actually gonna get to see the end of the silly, tiresome, anachronistic, outdated, racist, narcissistic group that are labeled “The Royals”? These inbred twits actually insist on being called “highness”, as if they are somehow better than you and me. As Bill Maher ("Real Time" on HBO) says, "What could be more antithetical to liberalism than calling another human 'your highness'"? No human is higher than another. That's just dumb (but then again, so was slavery!).
I've said it before and I'll repeat it here: this group's forefathers abdicated their responsibility for running the nation a few hundred years ago by turning matters of state over to a first minister - a prime minister - while they busied themselves doing... you know, whatever it is they do in their castles and boats and...
I don't respect these folks. I fail to see any reason why I'd want to in the first place. Just because they were born into the "right" family, I'm supposed to bow to them and call them exalted names and not talk to them unless they talk to me first? It's time to renounce this nonsense. Yeah, there's all that pageantry and being carted around in golden carriages and guards wearing funny outfits, but if you need that to get you up in the morning, I think you may have a bigger problem. And for you ardent royalists who chide that this group of inbred do-nothings brings tourist cash to Britain, I'll leave the last word on than to Mr. Maher: "Guess what. you don't need live people for it. They still go to Stonehenge, and the aliens who built that left a along time ago."
It's 2020: this birthright nonsense from the middle ages is dumb. Letting it keep going beyond the current queen is inane. Seems to me, if Meghan and Harry can quit their family, we can too. It's time.
         Buh-bye...

BTW, did ya know that the Earl of Denbigh's sole job as "Grand Carver" is to slice Queen Elizabeth's meat from the roast? Seriously. That's a job. That's what the guy does. Oh yeah, and at dinner, when she finishes eating, we all have to finish too. Then and there. Right. As it should be.
Not!
